1. Risk and Insurance
All users of the bike world Bikewelt Schöneck pursue their sport at their own risk and drive the trails at their own risk.
They are fully aware of the hazards and risks resulting from the use of trails and shall assume full civil and criminal law responsibility for any damage caused by them. Users must therefore have a personal accident and personal liability insurance for damages to third parties.
The operator of the Bikewelt Schöneck is the Dienstleistungs- und Tourismus GmbH. The operator takes no responsibility for the condition of individual routes and areas and associated facilities. During the opening hours of the lift as well of the practice routes riders of different performance levels ride simultaneously the routes and that's why attention has to be paid to slower riders.
Once the first signs of an approaching storm are observed by the employees of the Ski- und Bikewelt Schöneck, are we as operator obliged to induce a controlled empty running of the chairs at the 4-seater chairlift. This means that there are only those persons transported, which are currently placed on the chairs in order to be transported to the valley or mountain station. All other persons may no longer be transported (as long as this weather situation persists).
The manager on duty decides on easing of this situation in form of resuming of driving operation or also about the stop of driving operation for the current day. Similar behaviour rules apply also to very heavy rain and storm.

2. Waiver of Liability
The use of Bikewelt Schöneck, the attendance of training, bike seminars, courses, corporate incentives and events as well as the sole use of the facility takes place at your own risk. Parents are responsible for their children.
The originator shall be liable for any damage caused by not following the terms of use and is fully liable in the context of regress.
All users of the bike park incl. show jumping course of the Bikepark Schöneck take hereby note of the fact that the routes and individual sites are protected only in partial areas and therefore no claims for damages or claims for accidents or material damage may be enforced. For the operator it is not possible to safeguard every obstacle as trees etc. in the park area.For the perfect technical condition of the mountain bikes and of the equipment is responsible the user.

3. Usage
The usage of the bike park and of the show jumping course of Bikewelt Schöneck is permitted only with valid entrance or lift ticket. The ticket must be visibly attached to the bike or presented on request. The operator reserves the right that in case of non purchase of tickets the damage in the amount of 50,- € caused to him by that must be replaced, the right to report to the police and to express an entry ban.
All users of the Bikewelt Schöneck have to follow safety instructions and rules of conduct (see notice bike station / route entry / lift stations). By ignoring the safety instructions and rules of conduct depends on the operator, if he makes use of proprietary domiciliary rights and collects the admission ticket or lift ticket.
 
4. Commercial Use
For events of any kind the respective permission must be applied for solely by the operator. In this regard, commercial actions in the Bikewelt Schöneck organized by third parties are prohibited and require written permission of the operator. The operator holds all rights to all photos, films and videos produced in the Bikewelt Schöneck. This also includes advertising rights, pictures and commercialization. All videos and pictures may be used without the consent of the operator only for private use. Any public or commercial use of pictures and videos requires the approval of the operator and always requires naming the location with “Bikewelt Schöneck” or “bikewelt-schoeneck.de”.

5. Obligations and Instructions
Wearing a helmet throughout the Bikewelt Schöneck is mandatory. In the bike park incl. show jumping course is strongly recommended beside the full visor helmets also the wearing of protective clothing (protectors, gloves, etc.).
Accidents and damage to property have to be reported immediately in the lift station or in the bike station. In order to prevent accidents, signs and marks in the Bikewelt Schöneck must be observed and adhered to unconditionally. For reasons of nature protection only the marked trails and designated areas may be used.
The users of the bike park incl. show jumping course of the Bikewelt Schöneck have to follow the instructions of the operating personnel and to abide the rules of conduct and safety without a special request.

6. Recognition of GT&Cs
By passing over / entering the real estates, on which the route(s) of the Bikewelt Schöneck are located, and possibly by the release of the entrance or lift tickets you accept these terms and conditions.

7. Place of Jurisdiction
The place of jurisdiction is Schöneck/Vogtl.

Dear visitors of the bike park of the Bikewelt Schöneck,
in addition to the General Terms and Conditions (GT&Cs) of the Bikewelt Schöneck are in the following explained the Safety Advice and Rules of Conduct:

The bike park team is doing everything possible in order to keep the routes, obstacles and material in an optimal state and to offer maximum safety. Nevertheless, each rider is encouraged to carefully evaluate himself and his riding skills. Overconfidence and careless driving endangers you as well as the others.
Beginners and mountain bikers are advised to visit a riding technique course. This way you learn to bring in accordance fast action-packed driving full of activity and excitement and maximum safety.
There are certain rules of conduct, so that really each mountain biker in the Bikewelt Schöneck has his or her fun. Please be sure to read it carefully before you start!
1. The routes are only partially prepared and protected. Riding on the tracks is always at your own risk and ride first after reading the General Terms and Conditions.
2. Parents are responsible for their children.
3. You have to wear helmets anywhere in the park. We strongly recommend full visor helmets. The wearing of protective clothing is strongly recommended (protectors, gloves, etc.).
4. The routes are to be inspected prior to entering them (required)!
5. For all routes good expert knowledge is vital. Each user should ride only such routes that meet his or her own profile of requirements and skills.
6. The roads are categorized into different levels of difficulty:
blue = easy, red = moderate, black = difficult
7. Ride on the tracks just inside the marks! Riding outside the marks is strictly prohibited! Ride slowly on places where the visibility is unclear!
8. Keep a safe distance! Overtaking and weaker riders have always priority and must not be endangered.
9. To stop on the track is forbidden. Please keep outside the route if you need to stop.
10. Weaker riders should note that in many places route obstacles can be bypassed on easy paths („chicken ways“).
11. The traffic on the route(s) is permitted only from top to bottom: one way traffic! Never ride the route or run it up in the opposite direction! You are endangering yourself as well as the others!
12. Sitting and standing on the obstacles is forbidden.
13. Riding the facility with motorized vehicles of any kind is prohibited.
14. The posted signs and markings on each route must be unconditionally observed and respected in order to avoid accidents. Be aware of hikers, pedestrians and forestry vehicles that are moving in the park.
15. If the rider falls, he or she has to leave the route as soon as possible, following riders are to be warned. Hazardous parts potentially causing injury and lying around must be removed immediately in order not to endanger other riders.
16. The bike park must not be driven in reduced physical constitution and ability to react (e. g. under the influence of alcohol). The consumption of alcohol is forbidden within the facility.
17. The visitors of the Bikewelt Schöneck are allowed to park only in designated areas in or alongside the parking garage Hohe Reuth.
18. The prompts and instructions of the Air and Bike Park staff must be obeyed, otherwise the withdrawal of the lift ticket or if necessary, the expulsion of the facility follows (house rules).
19. To the photos, movies and videos produced in the Bikewelt Schöneck their creator has no ownership rights.
20. The waste should be disposed of in the waste containers.

The bike park team is doing everything possible in order to keep the show jumping course, routes, obstacles and material in an optimal state and to offer maximum safety. Nevertheless, each rider is encouraged to carefully evaluate himself and his riding skills. Overconfidence and careless driving endangers him or her as well as the others.  
Beginners and mountain bikers, who have never ridden in a bike park, are advised to visit a riding technique course. This way you learn to bring in accordance fast action-packed driving full of activity and excitement and maximum safety.
In order that really each mountain biker in the Bikewelt Schöneck has fun and in order to ensure a fully controlled traffic, following must be observed:   
1. The use of the facility takes place at your own risk and after thoroughly reading the General Terms and Conditions. Parents are responsible for their children. 
2. You have to wear helmets anywhere in the park. We strongly recommend full visor helmets. The wearing of protective clothing is strongly recommended (protectors, gloves, etc.).
3. Only marked / sand routes may be used.  
4. Ride slowly on places where the visibility is unclear! 
5. You have to keep a sufficient safe distance. Overtaking and weaker riders have always priority and must not be endangered. 
6. To stop on the track is forbidden. Please keep outside the route if you need to stop.
7. Never ride the route or run it up in the opposite direction! You are endangering yourself as well as the others.
8. The route is to be inspected prior to entering it for the first time and you have to familiarize yourself with the route.
9. The posted signs and markings on each route must be unconditionally observed and respected in order to avoid accidents.  
10. Sitting and standing on the obstacles is forbidden! 
11. Riding the facility with motorized vehicles of any kind is prohibited. 
12. If the rider falls, he or she has to leave the route as soon as possible, following riders are to be warned. Hazardous parts lying around must be removed immediately in order not to endanger other drivers. 
13. The bicycle must be suitable for the show jumping course and to be in a very good technical condition. 
14. The show jumping course must not be driven in reduced physical constitution and ability to react (e. g. under the influence of alcohol). The consumption of alcohol is forbidden within the facility. 
15. The waste should be disposed of in the waste containers.
